Edgar Torres (AViVA Owner) is a U.S. Air Force (USAF) Veteran who has been a business owner since 2000. Edgar has a background in residential construction from owning his own construction company. Being that he is also one of AViVA’s owners, he has extensive knowledge in the janitorial cleaning industry, quality control and client relations. Edgar has spent countless hours providing on site management, training, and motivating teams which makes him a true leader. He formally studied business administration to gain the knowledge he needed to be a successful business owner. As a reservist, Edgar holds a highly skilled rank in the USAF responsible for the career development of all enlisted personnel under his supervision. He must obtain maximum performance from each subordinate to ensure the product or service is of the quality necessary for total mission effectiveness. Because of his business and military experiences, he is a quick thinker and problem solver.
Lorraine Perez (AViVA Owner) has 18 years of experience in running her own businesses and running businesses for other owners in various industries. Her expertise is in the janitorial industry, overall operations, quality control, facilities management, compliance, and project management. She has worked closely with chief executive officers, chief financial officers, directors, and managers to assist and guide them through large scale projects. Projects she has been successful in leading required detailed planning, coordination and understanding of regulations that involved strict deadlines and budget constraints. Lorraine has also worked with state, national, and federal agencies. She has been responsible for arranging various community events within the City of San Antonio and also attends trainings throughout the U.S. to grow her skills. Lorraine is a Graduate of Texas A&M-University Kingsville and has a background in human sciences, business administration and art. Her studies continued at Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio for her Master’s level classes in technology.
Roger Saenz (Regional Director – Regions 2 & 3) has been in upper management and leadership roles for 32 years. His skillset is in management, quality control, bookkeeping, data collection, growth training, grant writing and grant reporting. He has also served as senior community liaison at the last organization he worked for. He has coordinated several large events which offered free resources and services to citizens who live in disadvantaged communities in Texas. Roger is a history graduate from The University of Texas at San Antonio. He earned his Master’s Degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and is currently enrolled there to further his studies.
Rob McDaniel (Growth Specialist) is a certified coach with more than 26 years success in strategic planning, process improvement, operations and focusing on improving performance results on a global basis. He is a graduate of Texas A&M University-Commerce and studied business and human resources. Robert is an expert in executive coaching, developmental training, human resources, and Six Sigma. He was awarded “Sherpa Trailblazer of the Year 2015 for innovation in the coaching industry. Rob is also a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran and brings impressive leadership skills to Team AViVA.
Esther E. Franco (Sr. Account Manager Region 1) has been in the janitorial cleaning and volume sales industry since 1979. She had a successful janitorial cleaning company in Corpus Christi Texas and its surrounding cities for 35 years. Although Esther retired her company, the passion she had for sales and community involvement landed her a position on the AViVA team. She comes to us with a wealth of industry knowledge. Esther has worked with large companies, school districts, and universities to provide janitorial services and paper product and equipment sales. She is outstanding at following through with what she says she will do, builds and fosters strong relationships with clients, and provides excellent customer service.
